Light of Christ Preschool has provided a Christian learning environment that encourages mental, physical, social and emotional development since 2003.  Preschool and Pre-K  curriculums both consist of learning-units that are used to guide group activities such as story time and arts/crafts as well as learning letters, numbers, shapes and colors.

During "Circle Time" the children are lead in singing, dancing, rhythm, rhyming, counting, and calendar learning. Writing is introduced later in the year.

“Center Time” allows for socialization among children while reinforcing skills that include sharing, taking turns, imagination, fine/gross motor skills, and pre-emergent reading and math skills.  Centers may include blocks, puzzles, books, Playdoh, games, simple handwriting and science experiments, dress-up, make believe, and role-playing. Developmentally at this age, children need interactive hands-on activities to make learning meaningful and memorable.

Chapel Time” is scheduled one day per month where Pastor Moe Redding will interact with the children through singing and storytelling. Bible stories, which teach children simple moral/character qualities, will be shared. Special attention will be given to Christian holidays and their significance to our Christianity in an age-appropriate way.
